Ladytron "Velocifero"

L'ultima fatica dei Ladytron uscirà il 3 Giugno in tutto il mondo. E' una consolazione che almeno questa volta non arriverà sul mercato italiano - in realtà questo vale solo per MTV Italia, ma si sa come sono i giovani, no? - con due anni di ritardo come successe con "Witching Hours".
E c'è anche una data italiana nel tour mondiale, wow!
Anyway, l'album vanta la collaborazione di artisti come Alessandro Cortini (from Nine Inch Nails) e Vicarious Bliss. L'attitudine del disco è presto detta: veloce ed aggressivo, oscuro e vibrante.

S'Express "Stupid Little Girls"

Mark Moore & Kinky Roland rivestono i panni acidi di S'Express e tornano sulle scene con "Stupid Little Girls", un bellissimo brano electro licenziato dalla Kitsuné. Altre versioni del pezzo sono state curate da Punx Soundcheck, JBAG (già presente sulla Kitsuné BoomBox) ed Eon.

Missil feat. Jahcoozi "Glitch"

Interessante nuova uscita sulla Citizen Records di Vitalic.
Missill, dj francese di cui è uscito l'album d'esordio ("Targets" su Discograph) a fine Gennaio, unisce sonorità hip hop, electro, reggae, breaks e grime. Non stupisce quindi la collaborazione con il trio Jahcoozi per "Glitch", a cui hanno lavorato anche Tepr e Shadow Dancer per creare le loro personali visioni sonore all'insegna della dirty electro.

Daniele Baldelli "Cosmic Disco? Cosmic Rock!"

Daniele Baldelli, il più grande portavoce italiano delle sonorità cosmic, ha iniziato la sue carriera come deejay negli anni '60, diventanto il re incontrastato delle "nuove" discoteche negli anni '70 ed '80. L'artista che è stato preso come riferimento da artisti come I-F, Hell, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, Felix Da Housecat, Tiga, Marco Passarani e di molti altri artisti che si sono ispirati agli anni d'oro del synth-pop.
"Cosmic Disco? Cosmic Rock!" riunisce 18 pezzi rari ed introvabili che trovano un punto d'incontro tra sonorità cosmic e rock, sfoderando il fascino di due mondi che sono più vicini di quanto possano sembrare.

Co-prodotto con Paul Brtschitsch, "Beyond The Valley" è più di un album di debutto che raccoglie 10 pezzi di un'artista che, insieme a Magda, è probabilmente la massima esponente del minimalismo. E' uno stato d'animo che conferisce all'intero lavoro un'impronta è sensualmente oscura. "E' il luogo in cui i tuoi genitori ti dicono di non andare a giocare. Perché? Perché tutto potrebbe accadere. E' pericoloso ed anarchico. Tutte le creature che sono state cacciate dal villaggio sono andate lì a nascondersi".
